Is the Premium Library available on the website ?
The Premium Library is currently only available on smartphones and tablets. We are working on creating a desktop application for Windows and Mac. Radios remain accessible on the website.
Since July 2024, all payments must be made through the website. You can no longer subscribe to paid offers from within the app.
What are the advantages of Music Source compared to other services ?
– There are no advertisements, visual or audio, nor any interruptions, on both the app and the website, even for Radio customers.
– The music tracks you hear on Music Source are created by the Origins label, specialists in wellness music for 30 years. The music we offer is specifically designed for your business: no need to spend hours creating the perfect musical ambiance, we do it for you.
– We take special care to avoid tiring your staff by regularly updating our programs.
– The Radio offer is free.
– Our paid offers are very affordable, with base rates below those of streaming platforms like Deezer or Spotify.
– The Premium offer gives you access, in addition to radios, to our continuous music module library, specifically designed for your treatments. Available for streaming or download. Playlists will also be available soon.
Why can't I skip tracks with the Radio and Radio Plus offers ?
The Radio and Radio Plus offers give you access to our 8 radios, whose programming, like FM radio, is continuous. You cannot skip to the next track.
However, you can upgrade to our Premium offer, which allows you to play the track you want, whenever you want, skip to the next or previous track, repeat a track, or use shuffle mode.
Can I create my own playlists with the Premium offer ?
The Premium offer gives you access to our long musical module library. These continuous, evolving tracks can be downloaded within the app or added to your favorites. You can then find them at the top of the Modules tab in the “Downloaded” and “My Favorites” filters.
We are currently working on a Playlists tab, which will be based on the same Favorites system, allowing you to create your own playlists.
Why do I need to provide my EIN number during registration ?
Music Source is a service reserved for professionals, which is why we need your EIN number to ensure you are a business and not a private individual.
What happens to the data I provide during registration ?
Your personal data remains strictly confidential. It is neither sold or shared. If you close your Music Source account, your data will be deleted 90 days after the account closure date.
Is Music Source compatible with Sonos ?
Not yet. We are working on developing a partnership with Sonos, as well as with other connected audio services like Yamaha MusicCast or Amazon Echo. AirPlay and Google Cast are available for streaming via the app.
